Our Mission
We are here to construct and deliver smaller, better buildings. Whether you are looking for a backyard ADU, cozy cottage, or maybe even a not-so-big forever home, Bigwood Builders will work with you throughout the process to deliver high performance quality in a more affordable package. We also believe that builders have a top responsibility to the environment that supports our craft, so we are constantly finding ways to reduce our impact and create more sustainable, non toxic, light footed building practices.

About Us
Sage Sauerbrey
Owner/Builder
Formerly named Bigwood Tiny Homes, Sage founded Bigwood Builders as a response to two fundamentally intertwined issues - housing and the climate - with the primary goal of delivering greener buildings in a more affordable package.
We changed the name to reflect the increasingly diverse building projects that we've had the pleasure of working on, because although we originally started building tiny homes on wheels, in the past six years we've done everything from small cottages to mixed use multifamily projects. The design may change, but the goal never wavers.
